There’s a vein of playfulness throughout my work promoting my love for using vivid colors and a variety of textures. I think of my sculptural work as “wall accessories”, as they carry a resemblance to brooches, pendants and other shiny trinkets. I incorporate body parts into the design in order to personify my work, while the act of decorating them alludes to the way we adorn our own bodies with clothes and makeup. My work praises the hyper feminine and views it as a form of power. Like sirens, my pieces stand out, covered in glitter and jewels calling to the viewers to come closer.
